Hey, I’m DaNA!

The journey of life can be challenging at times to navigate. Choosing to seek help by engaging in therapy is a powerful step to take on your journey to wellness.

As a licensed social worker, my goal is to empower my clients to learn and utilize new coping skills to navigate challenges on their journey. I value the opportunity to build rapport with clients while providing a safe space and encouraging clients to come as they are.

I have experience working with clients seeking treatment for anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. I have also worked with many clients seeking treatment as they navigate family conflict, life transitions, grief, impulse control difficulties,  self-esteem challenges, or emotion regulation difficulties. As a high school-based clinician, I have experience supporting clients navigate school and peer conflict challenges as well.  I am open to working with children, adolescents, and adults.

I have worked in various levels of care, including outpatient and inpatient treatment centers. My therapeutic approach is client centered to accommodate the unique needs of individuals.  My clinical work has primarily drawn from approaches aligning with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

I earned my master's degree in Social Work at Rutgers Graduate School and have completed certification in addiction studies.

Therapy is an opportunity for growth and transformation as we learn how to ride the waves of life. I hope to have the opportunity to learn more about your journey and your therapeutic goals. It would be an honor to work with you as you pursue your goals to be a healthier and happier you!
